Telegraph Brook Beach

Coordinates: Lat 45.489409°N, Long 65.218805°W

Telegraph-Brook-Beach Description: An intimate cobble beach at the mouth of Telegraph Brook.

Nature Notes: Like many beaches along the Fundy Escarpment, the waves have sorted the coarse clastic material and created a springtide berm at the top of the beach. A notable feature at this site is a section above the beach where a small waterfall empties into an isolated pool and then disappears under the coarse cobbles as it flows into the bay during the summer. The site is spectacular and beautiful, but an additional focus is the geological formation here, namely some folded stones that show evidence of tremendous geological upheaval.
